There have been a few questions regarding running your AC for long hours whilst off grid.
Relying on your inverter and batteries no matter the size of your battery bank will have limitations which has lead to questions about what size generator would l need.
The compressor in the AC unit can require 3-7 times the normal running current for a couple of seconds at start up so lots of smaller (2 kva and less) generators can’t handle that.
If you have a petrol generator that can’t handle the start up current draw it can still be used to extend your AC running time.
After consulting Redarc Tech Support you can run your AC on the 3000 Inverter and battery bank and use your generator to just charge your batteries at the same time to extend your off grid AC running time.

You can now run the AC from the inverter whilst at the same time charging the batteries with the generator making it possible to use smaller generators.
